Salvatore Moschella
As team leader in web development, Salvatore is primarily responsible for the development of the two web clients. He coordinates and supports his international team in the implementation of new functions. He particularly enjoys contributing to a cutting-edge product like waveware®, which is constantly being expanded and updated with the latest technology. In his free time, Salvatore likes to meet up with friends – preferably for a barbecue or to go on short trips.
I lead the development team for the two web-based application clients waveware® WEB and waveware® UX and also develop them further myself. My diverse duties include coordinating tasks as they arise and supporting the implementation of these tasks within our international team.
I mainly work with the Jetbrains Rider development environment and the Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers. We use GitLab for version management. We also use MS Teams for daily meetings and our in-house software waveware® QPRO for organizational tasks.
The team is currently focusing on the development of our waveware® UX client. The challenging, but at the same time exciting thing is to map the capabilities of the other application clients in a new, more user-friendly interface while retaining or even expanding the range of functions as far as possible.
As a computer scientist, I am probably more theoretical than someone without a degree. That’s why I abstract a lot of things first with the aim of finding solutions that can be used in a variety of ways in practice. My many years of professional experience come in handy here.
I really appreciate being able to contribute to a product that is characterized by a high degree of customizability. In the past, I often noticed that other software products were repeatedly reprogrammed from scratch without trying to reuse what already existed. In contrast, waveware® is constantly being expanded and brought up to the current state of the art.
In my free time, I like to meet up with friends for a beer, a barbecue or an excursion. I also enjoy cooking dishes from all over the world.
